What's your turnover for a character design?Approximately one week, depending on the complexity of the design and the client's availability, as I give frequent progress updates.
Can the character designs be reused in future illustrations?Yes, the designed models are always saved and can be reused as they are or with reworks like a new outfit or other small changes. If used as is the price for the illustration starts at the default base price(70$), if rework is required the base starting point for said rework is 30$.
What are the things that can affect the base price point?If the character design requires customized tattoos, scars or other markings that need to be hand painted, the prices will be adjusted to reflect that. I can give more precise quotes on those adjustments when I know what designs are required of me.
Do you do furry characters?Yes and no, as I work with pre-made models primarily this depends on whether on not the race in question exists and if I own the base model for it. If the option exists but I don't own the model, the price for its purchase will be added to the commission. That would be around 25$ on average.
What tools do you use?Primarily Daz Studio, Blender and Photoshop, occasionally Substance Painter.
Do you use any generative AI?For the most part categorically no, I generally dislike generative AI, the only parts I use are Photoshop tools for removing elements or micro corrections when the standard tools can't do the trick and only using the Photoshop model that was trained on their own images. In general I prefer to avoid even that, especially on commissioned pieces.
Do you make Fanart of existing characters or only OCs?For the most part I avoid doing Fanart, that said if you have an idea that is interesting you can present it and I will consider it.UPDATE : I have added fanart as an option to my Vgen services, the characters I'm able to use are limited to what is available to me and only video game characters.
Do you offer NSFW commissions?Yes, please consult my list of Do's and Don'ts below :Dos and Don'tsI will do, artistic and tasteful nudity in a setting that makes sense(bedroom, boudoir, beach, lake, body of water etc.)I won't do, explicit or pornographic depictions, including spread legs, erections, intimate touching etc. or fetishesI will do couples in intimate situations but presented in a non explicit manner( extra characters will come with an extra cost)I won't do insanely unrealistic proportions.I won't do anthros or furriesGoes without saying but i will not do any character under 18+ or who looks too youngI will not do stylized or anime looking, my style is semi-realism/realism.
Terms of Service
GENERAL
It is my commitment to provide the finished work within the pre-agreed timeline and to provide updates during the process. It is my preference that the client is available to provide feedback and approvals in real time, so there should be a communication regarding time zones.PAYMENTS
Work on the commission will start after I have received a down payment, typically that I prefer to do half upfront and half upon completion. For returning clients who wish to, I can offer the option the pre-pay the full price if that is their preference. I can also offer payment plans if necessary and after discussion and mutual agreement.REVISIONS
If the client is available for real time updates the revisions will be quicker.
Typically I give updates for every stage as follows :
1. base character shape for face and body
2. skin textures, eye textures, hairstyle options
3. outfit optionsI rarely need to give updates for the final pose and expression, but I'm open to doing so.After all these are approved I offer no more revisionsDEADLINES AND DELIVERY
Typically a commission is delivered within a week from when it starts, if there is a waitlist you will be informed when the commission will start and when it will be delivered. If any delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances there will be open communication and explanation.USE
You can use the image for personal, non commercial projects and always with credit when posted publicly.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The characters illustrated remain the intellectual property of the client and I retain the rights to the artwork, which I can post to promote my work. The client has the right to request that the posted image is heavily watermarked so as not to be copied, or request for the image to be private for an extra fee.My work is not authorized to be used or fed into any image generator LLM/AI under any circumstances.REFUNDS
If I fail to deliver the promised artwork within the agreed upon timeline, without communication, the client has the right to a full refund. If there is communication regarding a delay and the client requests a refund, I can do a partial refund depending on the amount of time that has been spent on the artwork by that point. If a client has done a down payment for a slot and wants a refund before the commission has started they will receive a partial refund(50% of the paid amount) for reserving the slot. If the commission has started and there are no delays in the process or any violations of the agreed terms from my part I have the right to refuse a refund.COMMUNICATION
I prefer there to be open and direct communication via chat, before accepting a commission and throughout the process, so I can maximize client satisfaction. Preferably on vgen or on discord.
